The National Junior Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle school students. More than just an honor roll; NJHS serves to honor students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship.
To be academically eligible, candidates must be members of the 8th grade and 7th grade class. These candidates shall have a minimum cumulative scholastic average of 3.5. Their eligibility for membership shall then be evaluated according to their service, leadership, citizenship, and character.
How do I become a member?
Students may complete an application packet, which includes a student resume and teacher character references. Completed applications must then be submitted to the NJHS Adviser by the posted deadline.
